Bompas & Parr Mercedes ‘Drive Thru’

Bompas & Parr’s Mercedes drive thru opened today in the lobby of the (now closed) Selfridges Hotel.
If you’re visiting you can expect lots of girls in fancy roller skates and ‘strategically patterned’ high visibility vests. They will guiding your car through a skate, light and smoke show while you wait for your burger.
The food is surreal, your choice of a burgers are Meat (Big Merc) or Veggie (Veg Merc). Both are served in a sugared donut bun! For meat loves the Big Merc is made with a duck sausage patty and comes with a thick slice of smoked cheese. For sodas you have a choice of three typically Willy Wonker-esque flavours. “Violet and Elderflower”, “Berry with Fine Apple Vinegar Shrub” and “Orange and Quinine Soda with Khat Bitters”
For those who are on foot, you watch the show from a revolving restaurant with a big curved glass window where you can see all the action while you eat!
