Tongue’N’Cheeks ‘pops-up’ with three versions of the their fantastic Heartbreaker Burger at The Endurance, Soho.
For those who were wondering what to do now that the Patty & Bun Joe residency ended at The Endurance (Soho), wait no longer. Tongue’N’Cheeks has stepped into the fray this week leading with their uniquely delicious ‘Heartbreaker Burger‘
This burger is pretty special and clearly Italian inspired. An ox-heart and beef blended patty set on a bed of watercress salad, salsa verde bed of fresh water cress and salsa verde topped with sour cream on a toasted multi seed bun. I’ve had confirmation that this week’s delivery of 42 day old dry-aged beef from independent butcher Nathan Mills has landed. (Twitter: @naththebutcher).
The Northern Italian maestro of Tongue’N’Cheeks, Cristiando, has his creation in constant development. The first iteration I had in May was a luxurious 100% Ox Heart patty held together with 60-day old beef fat, (yes it was damn tasty). The second version I had in July was a Ox Heart and beef blend which still had the flavour and held together a lot better as a burger. Now that we’ve had two hits, let’s see if we can get a burger hatrick!
