@AquaLondon: “AquaKyoto” (Tanq shaken w/Akinoto #Sake & dry sherry sweetened w/apple&elderflower balanced w/yuzu)

This is one of the most unique gin cocktails I’ve had for a long time.

The signature cocktail of Japanese Bar Restaurant Aqua Kyoto It is described as a “Tanqueray shaken with Akinoto Sake & dry sherry sweetened with apple & elderflower and balanced with yuzu”. Served in a sake bottle with a Mahon Cheese, grapes and quince in a little sake cup, I found it to be very unusual starting with the distinctive sake taste, carried along with an undercurrent of gin with a long sherry finish.
