Whilst walking down Regents Street today, I gazed upon this poster in the window of Leon Restaurants. It advertises Fish & Chips but I’m not quite sure what they are saying with the eel. I’m guessing that the “posh” refers to the fish presented in the box… but does the “not posh” suggest that the wrap on the right is Eel, not fish? Or is it just an oblique reference implying that fish & chips are now considered ‘posh food’
Can someone clarify?
