These mushy peas from Kerbisher & Malt are amazing. Firstly, they have a proper natural pea colour (i.e. they don’t glow like they’ve been in contact with lethal doses of radiation recently). Secondly they have a nice, thick, ‘near-guacamole’ like consistency which makes them perfect for dunking chips into. Seriously, this could be used as a great dip. Thirdly they didn’t taste like they had been dragged through a salt mine. Perfect!
If you’re in the Ealing area, try them out. If not, get over to their other branch in Brook Green for a great fish & chips with mushy peas.
