NEWS: Bookings UPDATE: for @HawksmoorLondon Air Street soft-launch w/50% off

Hawskmoor, the highly acclaimed steakhouse will be ‘soft-opening’ on Monday 22nd of October until Wednesday 31st, with 50% food!

This is the fourth Hawksmoor venue and their largest to date. With 235 seats in the restaurant and 50 more seats in the bar. Previous openings have seen ridiculous numbers of applicants for tables, not surprising given the 50% discount for top-notch steak.

“We get thousands of emails, and although we have three people working on it full time it can take us a while to get back to you, please bear with us. Unfortunately we don’t take bookings for the soft launch by phone, and we’re unable to get back to you with alternative times if the ones you want are unavailable – we know from experience that we have to do it this way or we create a bit of frustration.” – Hawksmoor

Four and a half hours after the 11h00 start people and it looks like there will be a lot of disappointed people.

“3 people working on it full time since 11am. Currently 8248 unread emails”

These soft openings are a great way for a venue to ‘fine tune’ their operations in preparation for a proper opening. For Hawksmoor their proper launch will be Thu 01 Nov.

My email was sent at 11h24 for lunch so hopefully I’ll be one of the lucky ones!
