Bone Daddies Ramen Bar
30-31 Peter Street W1F 0AR
Bone Daddies, the venture by ex-Zuma chef Ross Shonhan, has announced that it will be soft opening on twitter on Nov 02nd and 03rd for lunch and dinner
The venue, in the heart of Soho, is on the site of the former ‘Malaysian and Indonesian’ “Melati”. It is being built in the style of a Japanese Izakaya (think ‘bar with food’/’Japanese Gastropub’) and will serve 10 different type of noodles.
Ross is an unlikely looking Japanese chef. The Australian ‘farmer’s boy’ from Queensland was trained personally by Nobu Matsuhisa, has travelled extensively in Japan and is fanatical about the cuisine.
“It’s not unusual for me to stay up until two or three in the morning, reading about ramen” – Ross Shonhan
The soft launch will be informal on Fri 02nd and Sat 03rd Nov.
“no reservations so really just turn up 12pm – 3pm and 5:30-12:30 Jeez we have a lot of work todo”
