The Burger Challenge is a fun challenge for 3 local businesses to make the best burger near the Lower Marsh Market area. With master of ceremonies, Perisan Chef, Sabrina Ghayour, it proved to be a fun hit for passers-by and local office workers on their lunch-breaks! This challenge will be repeated tonight starting from 17h00.

If anyone has been to a burger challenges it can simply be a case of personal taste, but just like the old adage “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”, some burgers are viewed to be “beautiful by more people… more often”. If you disagree, I suspect that beauty is not your strong point… but I digress. This lunchtime three local businesses showed their interpretation to locals at Lower Marsh, opposite the Old Vic Theatre, Waterloo.

THE THREE COMPETITORS…

The winner this lunchtime was The Ring Bar with their ‘Ring Burger’. Runner up Green Smiths Food “Beef Burger”, and third place The Three Stags

NOTE: The Burger Challenge returns tonight at 17h00 for a 17h30 start. If you live/work nr Waterloo Station, pop down! There are limited spaces for judges at £5 each. In exchange for your vote, you get 3 half (or mini burgers) and a t-shirt!
