Street Food Collective KERB claims that the City of London has terminated their popular lunchtime street food market at The Gherkin… with immediate effect.
However, The City of London is responding to those who have retweeted the surprise news with the following statement
Currently I am awaiting further comment from
KERB or The Gherkin however the The City of London have simply responded with “They don’t have a license”.
In response the news of the forced closure, KERB has received a huge amount of support amongst the Twitter centric streetfood community. The online petition created by KERB this afternoon has already gathered over 800 e-signatures on change.org
