Tear apart a body for dinner? Why not? All seems pretty weird until you realise that it’s a promo stunt for a surgeon simulator game from Bossa Studios and the Queen of macabre, Miss Cakehead.
Fresh from delighting visitors with an Edible Horror farm (and upsetting a few of the more prudish locals in Letchworth), Miss Cakehead is now hosting a dinner to promote an iPad and PS4 game “Surgeon Simulator”.
I have just been sent an invite to take part in a dinner at a “secret London location” where guests will be “smashing open a ‘brain’ with a hammer” and “fishing out edible iPhones” from the torso of a patient named ‘Bob’. Who could say no to such delights?
“As with all surgery, guests will be expected to scrub up for dinner and attend in full surgical gowns. There will also be no knives and forks on the table, instead guests will be required to eat their meal with the same tools Nigel uses during surgery including tweezers, bonesaws, surgical scissors, circular saws and hammers – all essential if your ‘dining table’ has a live patient in the middle of it! At the end of the meal guests will also be marked on their ability to conduct surgery with ‘achievements’ even including brutal murder!
Limited Tickets Available
The event will be held on Wed 5th and Thu 6th of November at a ‘secret location’. Limited tickets will be available to the public for the evening of Thu 06th Nov. Keep an eye on the twitter hashtag #SurgeonDinner for more info.
